Admissions
Admissions to Riverwalk are made through the Local Authority. A referral is made to the local authority by the current provision through annual review, or referral form if non statutory school age. The referral is processed by the local authority who then consult with the school if deemed appropriate. For pupils who move into the area a referral is made upon proof of residence to the local authority.
Admissions may take place at any time during the year if places are available. Once a place has been offered by the Local Authority and a final Education, Health & Care Plan is received, we will discuss ‘taster’ visits for your child.
The Local Authority have previously commissioned nursery places for assessment. There are no places at present due to placements of statutory school age children.
