School Transport

Home to school transport is provided by Suffolk County Council.  The School Transport team commission each journey from a variety of providers who have to ensure that all their staff have a DBS check, and provide them with photo ID cards.  Parents have the right to request to see the drivers ID cards.

The Special Needs Officer responsible for your child’s Education Health Care Plan (or Statement of Special Educational Needs) will send a transport request to the Schools Transport Team and you need to ensure they have all the information you would like the driver and passenger assistant to be aware of.
