Volunteering at Riverwalk
Anyone can volunteer at Riverwalk school. It can be very rewarding and it is a great way to:
- meet new people
- gain new or use existing skills
- get experience
- make a big difference to your community
As part of our safeguarding procedures all volunteers will need to provide references and apply for a DBS check.
What makes a good volunteer?

We recruit volunteers from all walks of life and particularly look for the following in our volunteers:
- Reliability and a positive attitude.
- Respectful of others and able to get on with people.
- Aged at least 16.
